Captain meets his Cousin in California

Being parted by hundreds of miles is particularly sad for sisters when they have little tykes. I want the boys to be friends but the distance....
So you would understand the excitement when Lanna went to California for Josh's wedding too. That meant... All three of us sisters got to be together.

And so did our two little boys.

Zane and Shane,
and again...
Shane and Zane.

Doesn't mean that they loved it, but their grandparents sure did!!!

Uncle Chad felt pretty cool being a great uncle.

And Lanna got to hold my baby.
Two are better than one, you know.

We stayed at Kayla's sister, Megan's house. Her youngest, Dylan, is still in an infant car seat.
Our three babies just rocked that bench seat in the Land Rover.

Yeah, that was a pretty awesome surprise to have Lanna show up after all!

And on a side note, check out my pretty mom! Everyone was glad that she and Dad were able to make the trek out there. It's not every day that she gets to see her brothers on the other side of the country.

Little Dude

Chills a lot

  And sleeps... a lot.

And anywhere, really, but preferably always with Mom.

He has a little buddy named Landon. They like to study each other.
And sometimes laugh and talk to each other.

He has a whole host of uncles who adore him.

And who spend lots of time with him.

He is big enough to sit up in a shopping cart,

But still has a ways to go to do it on his own.
"It's just not comfortable Mom!"

So he sits in his bumbo seat a lot.

And loves it.

And smiles.

After all, life is pretty great!

Josh & Kayla

June 20th, 2015

Redding, California

They said "I do"

With oranges on trees behind,

And a pretty pool beside them.

I bawled...

But I'm super excited for them.

 Two people from two families...

Now have a best friend with whom to spend their lives.

I love you guys!
