One Day of Texas

Almost nine months after Lanna moved far away, I finally took the time to go visit her and her man.

Micah decided that we'd take one day and go to Mexico since Lanna had never been there. Despite all of our passports having some sort of issue (2/3 of us had a name change issue :P) , we tried it. Walking into Mexico is quite simple. Pay $0.50 and walk through the gate. Walking out of Mexico is pretty simple too. Pay $0.30 and walk through the gate. Then they route your path through a building and the guy at the counter looks at your passport, asks what you bought, and says have a nice day.

We enjoyed window shopping for about three blocks into Mexico; I found some earrings, for which I got to barter. They say six dollars and you keep walking but over your shoulder you hear them say five and then say four and you think, "Hmm, I might pay three" so you go back. :)

Although a couple of letters were missing, we still got the point and decided to swing by this place, after we got back into the states, to get some ice cream. Unfortunately they saved us a lot on ice cream- the place was closed. *Sadness*

So instead we went and ate a picnic lunch at a park near their town and watched some little kids run down the hill and fall on their noses, but then get right back up, quite happily!

While Lanna prepared her sandwich, I took "amazing" pictures. :)

:-:Classic Pose:-:

When you find a tree this cool and your sister begs you to get a picture in it, you just get your husband to help you climb up into the thing, pregnant or not!

  1. So cute! I saw your Dad at Morrisons feed store the other day and had to say Congrats about Lanna. She'll be a great Mom. Sounds like you had fun!
